Episcopal Ordination of Bishop of Bhagalpur                        

27.02.07: Rt. Rev. Kurien Valiakandathil took over the charge of new Bishop of Bhagalpur Diocese in a grand Ordination Ceremony at St. Joseph's School Stadium. This religious cermony was attended by thousands of people from the areas of Bhagalpur diocese.

BISHOP OF BHAGALPUR APPOINTED                        

11.01.07: Rev. Fr. Kurian Valikandathil, has been appointed Bishop of Bhagalpur.Bishop-elect Kurian (Ciriaco) Valiakandathil was Rector of the Diocesan Minor Seminary. The diocese had been vacant since the death of Bishop Thomas Kozhimala in June 2005.
